10 things to remember when hosting a Casino Party

  • Plan ahead - Pick your date far enough in advance so that your guests can make it
  • Number of guests - Get a good head count to help determine how many tables you will need
  • Tables - Decide what table games you would like to have
  • Space - You will need a 2' space all the way around each table to accommodate dealers, players, and chairs. Table dimensions vary
  • Lighting - You should have plenty of good, bright lighting, especially if outdoors. Ambient lighting will not do
  • Weather - Have a backup plan. Weather is unpredictable, even in San Diego.
  • Prizes - It's fun for your guests to feel as if they are playing for something. Have some fun, inexpensive prizes to raffle off
  • Chips - Don't start your guests with too much in playing chips. Try to keep it realistic. $300-500 is a good starting point
  • Fundraisers - Start your guests with fewer chips than a regular party. Encourage re-buying to earn more for your organization
